HP has become a little dumb.
Feb 12, 2008
Hewlett Packard complaint by Roby Martin
I just spoke with an HP support rep. I have printed about 40 pages with my printer. This is what she said,

Jerri: Host cartridges has less ink, they are only to initialize the printer. Okay, a 50 dollar printer does not come with ink. The ink costs 27.00 to 30.00 bucks to replace. I assume HP has began not labeling the product as not coming with ink. So given this mislabeling they can appear to be less expensive and get business. The consumer is stuck with a choice to buy another printer for someone other than HP or be robbed by them. It is your choice to decide.
