The call to HP was frustrating as no one would answer my questions. An order was placed for the HP OFFICE JET PRO 8025e.
I run a business out of my home. I told the agent that I needed a Fax Machine that connects to my phone only with no computer and only prints black ink. She stated that the HP OFFICE JET PRO 8025e is what you need. I trusted her because i previously ordered a computer.
I have the HP SMART FRIEND/CARE PACK Service. Upon receiving the above unit i noticed that it was not only quite bulky but also took color ink. The agent didn't say that. My partner said to give the product a try so i contacted customer service on how to set this up.
The manuel and instructions were confusing. I called 8 times an spoke with 8 different agents who could not answer my questions and put me on hold. After the 8th call i packed up the unit an brought it over to Fedex. I then called Brother an ordered a similar model, compact, $100 less an easy to set up with no problems!!
I will no longer be recommending any of your products as your customer service department for printers is atrocious.
If anyone asks me what i would rate you I will tell them....a BIG FAT. ZERO!

False information
I tried to contact HP for tech support at 800-474-**** on a poor ink cartridge. After answering many unnecessary questions not dealing directly with the problem, I was offered an opportunity to send money ($19) for a new cartridge.
At this point the light went on in my head and I realized the whole thing was a scam similar to what I had experienced before. The number I called wasn't actually HP tech support but a BS company in India pretending to work for HP..........They do NOT!
I asked the employee several times if he actually worked for and was employed by HP which he refused to answer directly.
The actual number for HP Tech Support is 800-334-**** but I was disconnected after waiting to the 21 minutes. When shopping for computers or printers etc, shop for who's going to provide support or get hung up on.

Issue eith my HP S14 14" portable monitor
We were unable to find the serial number for the HP monitor.
The HP Tech said he couldnt help me without the serial number. I called Amazon for the serial number, and they referred me to the product seller.
Im waiting for the seller to contact me with hope to provide the serial number.
The issue I called about was setting up the triangle in the back of the HP S14 14 portable Elite Book monitor to hold the monitor up for viewing. Your HP tech was unable to figure out how to set up the triangle.
He didnt have a monitor in front of him, and wasnt familiar with how to set up the triangle. I got a friend to stop by my home, and he was able to set up the triangle.
This was a very frustrating process, because the HP tech couldnt walk me through the process of setting up the triangle.

User's recommendation: The technician fixed the problem. This is the second HP printer I have. I am disappointed in the quality of the 7740. It is less than one year old.
