Firmware update and requirement to use HP Ink

I thought HP lost a lawsuit over their predatory practice of forcing users to use only HP ink. Went on vacation. came back and firmware update on a brand new printer rendered my existing 3rd party cartridges useless. Were working fine previously.

User's recommendation: Don't buy an HP printer or at minimum disable firmware updates.

Printer problem

Printer problem. The printer will not print items I send to be printed to the printer. I tried to reset it several times per the screen.

My refurbished ink cartridges don’t work

I purchased refilled cartridges from Amazon , they worked for a minute. Now when I open my app it tells me these are K brand and also listed that the last ones installed were hp. Now theres an error code that the cartridges are not communicating with the printer or internet. I didnt report refilled cartridges to your company so its a ploy by your company to get people to buy hp.

I am trying to use my computer printer; which is not working. I never received my six month free ink and I cannot contact anyone by phone because theyre not answering them. I am requesting assistance with this printer I purchased. My number is 248-508-**** the computer is an HP DeskJet 4155e all-in-one. I do not have a receipt because I used my credit card from my bank. Did not fix my new printer

Kept asking for my serial number; why dont they let you scan it in? Some people are vision impaired and this is impossible. CS Rep had difficulty understanding. I am going to try my laptop diagnostics.

User's recommendation: No. Buy printer from a locally owned electronics shop. You can then get serviced by someone you know and support a business in your city.

I am having a problem connecting my printer to the Internet its been working fine until I changed the cartridges in it I have been trying for the last four hours or so to talk to somebody who can help but all you get is an answerphone telling you to press this that and the other when you are not very good with the computers age-related it seems to be you cannot get to speak to somebody everybody expects everybody to have a computer which they can work to that hundred percent but that is not the case with all the people.

Question on speed

Two different customer service people gave 2 different answers to my question about low upload and download speeds. Neither of them answered my question!!

I was treated like crap. It took forever to find an official phone number for HP customer service, because it was not listed on the HP personal assistant page attached to my account. The warranty on my HP laptop expired on December 1st, 2021. I had forgotten about it....

New Computer Crashed

They are sending me a loaner and going to repair my computer. I am an engineer and have to sacrifice more days of lost design work due to no computer. A more fair resolution would have been to overnight a new computer to me since this one is only six months old. I shouldn't have to be going through this and it is causing me to lose income.

User's recommendation: All computers are made with cheap parts. Buying a different brand may not help. Maybe another brand would more easily replace with a new one.

Printers are junk. prints 3 things then never again and yiu are stuck with broken printer. you suck suck suck

you sell junk then dont stand behind it. left with junk printer and out 100 bucks and a junk printer and still have to go buy another one to do what i need done. its rediculus and cant find a customer service that speaks proper english
