Bought a HP laptop computer for my son from Costco, after 11 months the screen started acting up, called Costco who transferred me to an HP representative as it was still under their warranty, after being accused of damaging the computer they indicated that it was a problem with the hinges and they were not covered under warranty and I would have to pay to have it fixed, when I asked to speak to the supervisor I was put on hold, after waiting 45 minutes I hung up, my only hope is Costco will do something when their warranty kicks in, what a piece of ***, if the hinges are causing a problem then it must be a design flaw as I know no other way a laptop cab work

Just saw a post flash by regarding their laptop in at HP and they are out of hinges.

Hmmm, now when I explained problem to online parts order dept I was sold a new bottom cover for my envy notebook hinge problem.

By the time I found anyone to look at it they said they wouldn't touch it. Tried to return cover but 60 day s were up.

I have a laptop that doesn't work at all and a new bottom cover.

I would like my laptop repaired or replaced. My model is about $900 now.
