I ordered a laptop for my daughter. No extras- as is basic laptop.
Once I showed my husband what we got, he showed me why it was way more than what our kid needed- by ALOT. I checked the status online and it said they hadn't even started it yet. I called, asked if it could be canceled because there was about a months lead time still and was told it shouldn't be an issue. Very soon after, I received an email stating that the request had been denied and the product was being shipped.
It went from being over a month out to being shipped?? I finally got through to a resolution specialist who first told me to try and sell it but then agreed to at least let me return it with no restocking fee. Now I have received 2 emails telling me that the shipment has been delayed.
Wth HP? Not cool at all.
User's recommendation: I have used HP in the past but have never had to use their customer service. Products are great- just don't have an issue with one.
