Terrible, lousy customer service!

I am on the phone holding for 45 minutes so far. I called yesterday about 5 put on hold for 20 minutes. Called back, on hold for a half an hour with music, music stopped, still on hold with dead air. Decided to let the phone hold while I did other things. The phone call finally dropped after two more hours!

User's recommendation: Be aware that you will never get through to customer support on the phone.

Browser problems

Couldn't hear and had ti keep asking to repeat. And after 30 minutes wasted you tell me there is a monthly charge which should be a one time fix and no charge.

Terrible Customer Support.

I went to website and asked virtual assistant for help. My printer keeps saying there is a paper jam, but there is no paper jam. I disconnected the printer for 1 minute and turned it back on. Same message. "Printer failure. There is a problem with the printer or print system." I requested technical support and the virtual assistant sent me to Just Answers where I have to pay someone. That is not technical or customer support.

User's recommendation: Don't believe when HP says they have technical support.

HP HAS ALWAYS HAD VERY LONG WAIT TIME. LIKE EVERY SINGLE VENDOR OUT THERE THEY HIDE BEHIND "IM SORRY WE ARE EXPERIENCING LONGER THAT USUAL CALL VOLUMES." BEFORE AND AFTER COVID. I CALL BS ON THIS. IT'S CODE FOR "WE ARE TOO CHEAP TO HIRE ANYONE AND WE DON'T WANT YOUR CALLS, WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER, WE JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND WE HOPE YOU GIVE UP ON WAITING AND JUST GO AWAY."

[I recently woke up the computer and got a message saying that my warranty had expired on August 9, 2021. From my notes, I think I already renewed and want to verify it.

I had already written down that it is an HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0014. Product #: 6YQ60AA#ABA S/N: 2M00244F8H 1 year post-warranty plan Product #UN062PA $190. There was an instruction: If renewing, enter code HPSAPW25 at checkout After much searching, I stumbled onto the customer service number for "WARRANTY HP". When I dialed it, I was transferred to an automated voice that asked me to speak my computer's serial number. I did this slowly and clearly; the voice then came back saying it did not recognize that number and would transfer me to a person who could help me. Instead, it disconnected me with a busy signal. I still want to talk to a real person. My landline number is 410-833-****.Recommendation John Porea

Computer that costed over $3000 lasted only 6 months! Made in China junk.

It bit the dust after 6 months. Every computer company uses crap made in China. Cant buy a good one that lasts!

Trying to return a computer purchased via online.

When I tried to return the computer, there was instructions to do so and I followed them to the letter. Unfortunately, once you got half way through , the keywords you were to select were not there. Spent 3 days on the phone and on their web site trying to get info on how to get the return completed without any success. It was either, 'this is not my area', or it was robots answering the phone which did not have any answers. Not a happy camper here and although they have a good product I will not purchase anymore because of the support system they have.

Forced Adverstisements

Having to set up an account so they can solicit Ink Sales from me, thus forcing me to keep username and password to access my printer/scanner/fax machine is intolerable. Valuable time is lost and there is a cost. Why do we allow this from HP? How can we make them stop? Why don't they answer their phone lines rather than AI computer generated phone voice?

User's recommendation: Know what you are buying, and make sure you don't create an account as losing or forgetting that log in etc, will cost you valuable time which is money.

HP not willing to credit ink

My HP printer recently died which left me with $100 of unused, unopened ink. I was going to replace with another HP product but could not match the ink cartridges. According to HP, the company no longer sells a printer in which these cartridges would work. Out $100! Not good customer service. If they wanted me to purchase their product (a new HP printer), wouldn't it have been worth the $100 of goodwill (credit) to retain me as a happy customer???

HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 is not printing

an error of jammed paper is being sent to the printer, there is no jammed paper, the paper had been removed now the message is to turn off the printer and turn back on which is not solving the problem

Hp issues

I purchased an HP, 15.6 laptop for my daughter from Walmart in January 2021. Her laptop rebooted, on it's own and then went dark. Walmart said that there is nothing that they can do about it because it's been more than 14 days. I was told to contact Hp.
