Last year I purchased a HP laptop from Sam's Club. I barely used it because I have a tablet.

When I would use it I always found hidden administrators, loggers, developers, and Bing web site taking over. I did not buy any of that crap, I thought I only bought the laptop. Everything I typed was monitored by my keystrokes and touch pad (read up on this). I saw this when I went into the developer screen.

The built in administrator blocks (access denied) most commands I make, and I am suppose to be the administrator of the machine. When I called HP they said they could not help me because I did not know the bios password. Oh yeah, the call was outsourced to India. I could hardly understand them, and they did not know what the heck I was saying.

I did not know what they were talking about concerning the bios. I figured that out for myself, and I don't even work as a computer tech. They tried to pass me from one rep to another (nothing accomplished). I was hung up on after one rep. said he saw what I was talking about after remotely searching my computer.

I called Windows to see if they could help (nothing accomplished), I called Sam's Club corporate office and they replaced it with a new one even though I had the 1st one for so long. Well, it's the same thing with the second one. Come to find out HP knew about this problem, and was suppose to apply a patch to fix the problem. I don't want a patch.

I want a computer that respects my privacy. Read about all of this online. Sign into Google, not Google Chrome or Bing, and read about all of this crap!!! Is this what they meant about Big Brother???

It's up to you if you want to buy their laptops. There my be some that don't have these issues. They will never be my choice again.

I am a pissed consumer that really wants to cuss, but I don't want to offend anyone. Use your imagination though.
